Queen Victoria's Journals

Queen Victoria's private diaries have been made public for the first time. Chronicling her life from age 13 to her death in 1901, she speaks so openly and honestly. There are also some beautiful illustrations to be found; I especially liked this watercolour she made of one of her horses.

A New Season

For as long as I can remember I have had a split design personality. The logical, reserved, corporate side of me loves minimalism - shades of grey, lots of white space and carefully positioned elements. The other rather suppressed side of me longed for bright colours, prints and patterns and the mess of fabric paint.
